The Jones Family

I went with the Jones Family this weekend to colonial Yorktown and the beach area around the York River. The setting was perfect, and I enjoy working with kids. Overall, I think it was a success...

Doug and Tina

When I think of Doug and Tina I think of family. I've known Tina and her family for a long time, and I met Doug not too long ago. Family was what this wedding was all about with the warm environment and low-key setting. The wedding was at Tina's daughter's house in Suffolk, Virginia and we had a beautiful time. Even though the rain tried to spoil the day, the sun eventually came out and it made for a beautiful afternoon.

Temple

I went with Temple and her mother to a beautiful farm that has been in their family for a long time. On a perfect Sunday afternoon, the farm dating back to the late 1800s made for a spectacular setting to shoot her senior portraits. The old buildings and beautiful landscaping were truly a photographer's dream come true. We had a great time, and I was really pleased with several of the photos. Here's a few of my faves:

Sloyan Family

When photographing children it is never a dull moment. Photographing 5 children now that is an adventure. I had the opportunity to photography the Sloyan Family at their house, a renovated farmhouse on 5 acres of land. The scenery was beautiful a perfect place to take pictures. The children were a joy to work with and they seemed to have plenty of fun during the shoot. Just wanted to say thanks to my friend Annamaria for the referral; she is an au pair for the family and helps take care of the kids.

Brian and Wendy

Two weddings in one week and I wasn't responsible for taking pictures. On Oct 11th, I was a guest at a family wedding. It was nice to see family that I don't see as much as I should. The wedding took place in Glen Allen, Virginia. The wedding was beautiful with a reception at a country club. Took some pictures and did my best to try to stay out of the way of the photographers shooting the wedding.
